It's Not Love Any Other Way

Everyone experiences hurt and pain. I know I have quite a bit over the past year and even in the past couple months. While we may think that God has abandoned us in those times, He is right next to us, waiting for us to cry out and give our pain to Him, for He is the only one who can heal us.  Watch this video. Then go download the song. It'll change your perspective on pain.

  1. I like this post. I'm definitely going to go and download the song. I'm constantly learning more about love, and love takes the risk of being hurt. Christ was beaten, spat, slandered, and killed all for our sake. All for Love! Romans 5:8.

There's a quote by C.S. Lewis that I really like. It says,
"To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything and your heart will certainly be wrung and possible be broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact, you must give your heart to no one, not even to an animal. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements; lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in that casket--safe, dark, motionless, airless--it will change. It will not be broken: it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable."

God made us to love. But at the same time, he knew we would get hurt and that is why His loving arms are extended to us in those time. He is a mender of broken hearts! Be encouraged!

    Grace & Peace
